Kevin Hughes Joins ICI Services as PEO IWS 2.0 PM

Virginia Beach, VA – ICIServices Corporation announced today that Kevin Hughes has joined the company as Program Manager for the corporation’s prime contract supporting the Navy’s Above Water Sensors Directorate (PEO IWS 2.0).

Mr. Hughes has 25 years of leadership experience in Department of Defense advanced research and development, including above water sensors, ballistic missiles, space, missile defense and information technology.  He has managed large-scale information technology, software development and facility programs.

Mr. Hughes earned an MBA in Finance from California State University and a BS in Engineering from the US Air Force Academy. He is a certified Project Management Professional and also holds DAWIA Level III Program Management certification.

Before joining ICI Services, Mr. Hughes served as Deputy Program Manager for Gryphon Technologies LC supporting PEO IWS 2.0 In-Service Radars, where he chaired the Risk Review Board and ran the In-Service Radar Element/Combat System Certification Panel on behalf of the Principal Assistant Project Manager.

During his active duty career, Mr. Hughes served as Director, Acquisition Management and Chief of Staff for the Joint Program Executive Office, Integrated Air and Missile Defense Program, and as Deputy Chief, Logistics and Communications for the Headquarters (HQ) 14th Air Force, at Vandenberg AFB, CA, and as Chief, Operational Requirements of the HQ Air Force Operational Test and Evaluation Center at Kirkland AFB, NM.
