Jason Hanson Named Logistics Services Operations Center Manager

Virginia Beach, VA – ICI Services Corporation announced today that Jason Hanson has been named Logistics Services Operations Center Manager overseeing the corporation’s logistics support to the Naval Undersea Warfare Center in Newport, RI, and Naval Surface Warfare Centers in Port Hueneme and Corona, CA, Indian Head and Carderock, MD, Panama City, FL, and Philadelphia, PA. Mr. Hanson works within the Management Systems Division led by Vice President Rich Miner.
Mr. Hanson has extensive logistics and warehouse management experience within and before joining ICI Services in 2009. He previously served as Project Manager for ICI Service’s Pentagon Force Protection Service prime contract, supervising a workforce that guarded against chemical, biological and nuclear threats in the more than 70,000 letters and 5,116 packages that arrived at the Pentagon each month. Prior to that role, he spearheaded Quality Control and Safety Training and Inspections for ICI Services’ prime logistics contract serving the Department of Homeland Security’s Customs and Border Protection Agency.
While stationed at Fairchild Air Force Base outside of Spokane, WA, Mr. Hanson served as a Survival, Evasion, Resistance, Escape (SERE) Instructor, responsible for training aircrews and Special Forces in survival techniques, leading “high risk” field training exercises and developing survival lesson plans. He also served as SERE training logistics manager, ensuring more than 70 SERE instructors had the equipment they needed for field training.
