ICI to Support Amphibious and Auxiliary Ship Design, Engineering and Integration

Virginia Beach, VA - ICI Services Corporation announced today that it is a member of a CSRA team selected by the Naval Systems Engineering Directorate (SEA 05) to provide ship design, engineering and integration support for the US Navy’s Amphibious and Auxiliary ships. The effort will fall within ICI Services’ Systems Engineering Division led by Vice President and Division General Manager John McGrath.

Work on this five-year contract will support the Surface Ship Design and Systems Engineering Group and includes naval ship design engineering; hull, mechanical and electrical systems engineering; marine engineering; systems engineering in support of ship acquisition; development and maintenance of automated ship design tools and databases; development and maintenance of specifications, standards, processes, tools and training; test and evaluation engineering support; technical study support; and management of technical and performance risks for new ship programs.

The engineering and integration services will be in support of amphibious assault ships, amphibious transport dock ships, dock landing ships, landing craft, and similar future ship classes. It will also support Combat Logistics ships, such as dry cargo ammunition ships, oilers, fast combat support ships, and similar future ship classes; and Fleet Support Ships, such as afloat forward staging bases, surveillance ships, salvage ships, tenders, tugs, joint high speed vessels, command ships, landing platforms, small craft, and similar future ship classes.
