ICI Services to Support Navy Unmanned Surface Vehicle Development

Virginia Beach, VA - ICI Services Corporation announced today that it was selected to participate as a prime contractor on a $982 Million Naval Sea Systems Command (NAVSEA) contract to support the Navy’s newest generation of unmanned surface vehicles (USVs).

Under this IDIQ Multiple Award contract, ICI Services will be offering the Navy solutions for USV payloads; non-payload sensors; mission support systems; autonomy and vehicle control systems; ashore and host platform elements; and logistics and sustainment as the Navy incorporates manned and unmanned teaming and autonomy within its USV Family of Systems.

ICI Services CEO and founder Mike McCarley said the award was an important step for the company. “It reflects our transition to a provider of high-end solutions for the Navy,” he said, “and ensures we are positioned to meet the needs of the Navy’s future surface combatant force.”
