ICI SUPPORTING INTERNATIONAL PROGRAMS UNMANNED AND AUTONOMOUS FLEET EXERCISES – REPMUS/DYNAMIC MESSENGER

September 01, 2022

LogosIn support of PEO USC’s Director of International Programs, ICI’s Rick Ledford participated in REPMUS and Dynamic Messenger 2022, a pair of major international exercises involving unmanned underwater, surface, and air vehicles. REPMUS (Robotic Experimentation and Prototyping augmented by Maritime Unmanned Systems) is an international exercise focused on proving the capabilities of new generation maritime unmanned systems in which Academia, Industry and Armed Forces collaborate on the development and testing of these systems. Dynamic Messenger focuses on the operational testing of those capabilities to support the warfighter, with an emphasis on integrating maritime unmanned systems into maritime operations. Rick served as the Exercise Coordinator for the PEO USC Director of International Programs who was also the US Exercise Director and NATO Maritime Unmanned Systems Initiative (MUSI) US Head of Delegation during these events. Results from these exercises will help inform OPNAV N91’s warfare integration strategy.
